Driving from the South on the M5 ‐ exit Junction 31
Exit the motorway at Junction 31 and take the A30, 1st exit towards the A377 (Alphington Road). Continue on Alphington Road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the traffic lights (you will see the Riverside Leisure Centre on your left). Turn right into Haven Road. The centre is located on Haven Road, directly opposite the Piazza Terracina. The nearest public car park is Haven Banks Car Park which is approximately 100 metres from the centre. Drive past the centre and turn right into the car park - if you reach Maritime Court you have gone too far.
Driving from the North on the M5 – exit Junction 30
Exit the motorway at Junction 30 and take the slip road left towards the A379 Exeter. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A379. At the next roundabout (Countess Wear), take the 3rd exit signposted A3015 (Topsham Road into Holloway Street). Bear left at the roundabout onto Western Way. Follow the A377 over the river and take the 2nd exit for Alphington Street. Turn left into Haven Road. The centre is located on Haven Road, directly opposite the Piazza Terracina. The nearest public car park is Haven Banks Car Park which is approximately 100 metres from the centre. Drive past the centre and turn right into the car park – if you reach Maritime Court you have gone too far.
Driving from North Devon (A377)
Follow the A377 to Exeter until you reach the Cowley Bridge Junction. Turn right into Bonhay Road, following signs for the 'Quay/Train Station'. At the roundabout, follow the A377 over the river and take the 2nd exit for Alphington Street. Turn left into Haven Road. The centre is located on Haven Road, directly opposite the Piazza Terracina. The nearest public car park is Haven Banks Car Park which is approximately 100 metres from the centre. Drive past the centre and turn right into the car park - if you reach Maritime Court you have gone too far.
Public Car Parks
Haven Banks Public Car Park is situated on Michael Browning Way (approx 200 metres from the centre), off Haven Road, Exeter, EX2 8DP. This is a long stay, pay and display car park split over two sites, with spaces for over 300 cars. Please note, the car park located further along Michael Browning Way offers cheaper parking.
Alternatively, Cathedral and Quay Car Park (approx 1km metre from the centre), Western Way and Lower Coomber Street, Exeter, EX1 1DD. This is a medium stay, pay and display car park with spaces for over 400 cars. To walk to the centre, follow the signed walking route to the Quay. Once on the quayside, turn right along the river and walk over Cricklepit Bridge, turn left and walk along the river path until you reach the Piazza Terracina. Walk across the Piazza towards Haven Road. You will see the centre directly in front of you.
