The benefits of outdoor learning are well publicised and documented. Haven Banks, holding numerous national recognition and accreditation, provides teachers and leaders with the reassurance of the high standards of quality, safety and the exceptional learning experiences available.
We are aware of the pressures teachers and leaders face with their day to day organisational role and we are here to help and support the planning, development and delivery of your curricular and extra-curricular activity programmes.
Whether a single activity session or full academic years development programme of activities, the centre staff will work closely with you to ensure the programme of activities is designed, developed and delivered to the very highest standards of safety, interest and educational benefit and provide accreditation programmes in either National Governing Body Awards or GCSE grading where required.
We have over 45 years experience and 30+ outdoor adventurous activities to choose from. Pricing structures offer flexible and affordable options for school and youth groups of all sizes. Our group prices are based on either 1-6 participants or 7-12 participants. Larger groups can easily be accommodated as required. We suggest activity sessions run for either 2 or 2.5 hours and the provided prices reflect this. However, many groups and individuals request longer sessions or half or full days, as well as full week and full year activity programmes.

Popular Programmes
Choose one of the many great activities on offer. Generally 2 hours but the time and duration can be customised to suit.
Choose two activities with lunch break in between and make a day of it! A mix of one water and one land based makes for a great combination.
Pupils can join us for consecutive days or one session or one day a week. Awards generally take from 8-12 hours to complete. We offer NGB accreditation in paddlesports, climbing, mountain biking, sailing, power-boating and first aid.
A two day, one night venture on the River Exe and Exeter Canal. Paddling from Exeter to Turf Locks, camping overnight with food and evening BBQ included. Striking camp and paddling back the following day.
A full week of fantastic outdoor adventure. 2 different activities each day. Programme includes a dynamic mix of land and water-based activities.
A bespoke 36 week outdoor learning multi activity land and water-based programme where pupils can work towards accreditation while building confidence and self-esteem. Great as part of a Pupil Premium Package.

Simple Steps to Booking
We are here to do all we can to help make your planning, preparation and booking run as smoothly as possible.

| 2. | Arrange a visit to the Centre to see the facilities and meet the Centre Manager |
| 3. | Suggested activity programme and price provided by Haven Banks OEC. |
| 4. | Programme details amended/agreed and confirmed. Request for 50% deposit. |
| 5. | Login provided to secure webpage for all pre-visit information, including risk assessments, clothing lists, information parental consent SOE5 etc. |
| 6. | Balance payment request 8 weeks ahead. Payments can be made by cheque, credit/debit card, cash or BACS |
| 7. | Final arrival details confirmed with/from Haven Banks. |
| 8. | Day of your activity programme – Arrive to a warm welcome where Instructors will take care of visiting staff and pupils and provide a memorable outdoor experience. |

As an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Haven Banks can support or fully manage all aspects of your DofE Expedition section of the Award.
Services include: Full management of your organisations Expedition section. Support by providing qualified Leaders and/or Assessors, as well as offering Open Award Expeditions for individuals. Read more.
